Kapiti Olive Oil has for the third time in a row won “Best in Class” for its mild Koroneiki blend in the latest Olives New Zealand annual awards.

Kapiti Olive Oil has won the “Best in Class” award for its Frantoio olive oil as well as the “Supreme Champion” for its Koroneiki olive oil in the latest olive oil awards held in New Zealand.

Kapiti Olive Oil also scooped two gold and five silver medals at both the Olives NZ and the Royal Easter Show Olive Oil Awards this year. These latest medals highlight a 15 year unbroken record of producing medal winning, world class extra virgin olive oils including two “Supreme Champion” awards and now five “Best in Class” awards.

Winning awards demonstrates that our olive oil is consistently world class and it gives reassurance to our customers that they are buying a truly premium product. But the major incentive is that we like nothing better than when customers say "YUM" after tasting our oil.

Our finest olives are picked and expertly blended to capture the distinctive robust and fruity flavours produced from the river silt loam soils of Te Horo, Kapiti Coast. We create extra virgin olive oils that celebrate and make the most of our clean, green temperate climate.
